Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Chithraguptha handles information in the Manvori mobile application and related services.

1. Information we handle

• Phone number and profile information you provide.
• Date of birth, birth time, birth location and calculated traditional astrology context you choose to provide.
• Questions, replies and conversation metadata.
• Explicit product visit events such as app startup, Home, Chat, conversation visits and Soul Room entry.
• Technical, diagnostic and telemetry information processed by configured services, including Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and push-notification infrastructure.

2. How information is used

• To authenticate your account and provide requested features.
• To calculate and display astrology and traditional context.
• To generate conversational responses using configured AI providers.
• To save and operate conversations, replies, retries and sharing features.
• To understand screen/action-level product usage and improve reliability.

3. AI and service providers

Relevant request context may be sent to configured AI providers to generate responses. The current backend supports Gemini and can be configured for OpenAI-compatible and Anthropic providers. Hosting, database, cache/queue, notifications and telemetry may also involve third-party providers.

4. Soul Room

Soul Room is a separate private conversation surface and is excluded from normal chat listings. The current MVP stores Soul Room messages; it is private by access control and is not a guaranteed zero-retention or automatic-delete channel.

5. Traditional guidance

Astrology, numerology, Panchanga and Indian wisdom are provided as traditional or cultural guidance and reflection, not as scientific certainty or guaranteed predictions.

6. Retention and deletion

Information is retained as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and operate the service. The deletion process and any retention periods may change as the product evolves. 7. Security

We use access controls, encrypted production transport and managed infrastructure appropriate to the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Manvori is not directed to children. Do not knowingly submit a child’s personal information without the appropriate legal basis and guardian involvement.

9. Changes

Updates will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
